Guidease – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Guidease. By accessing or using our platform (the “Service”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please review them carefully. These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, govern your use of Guidease.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Guidease, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not accept any part of them, do not use the platform.

2. Services Provided

  • Guidease connects users (“Students” or “Users”) with verified counselors, mentors, and educational experts (“Advisors”) offering academic, career, and personal guidance.
  • Guidease is not an accredited institution.
  • We do not guarantee admission, job placement, or specific outcomes.
  • Guidance is for informational purposes only.

3. Eligibility

  • At least 10 years old (with parental supervision if under 18)
  • Able to provide accurate, up-to-date information
  • In compliance with applicable Indian laws and regulations

4. User Accounts

To access services, you must register. You are solely responsible for:

  • Protecting your login credentials
  • Keeping your profile information accurate
  • All activities under your account (authorized or unauthorized)

5. Booking and Payments

Service details, fees, and formats (video, chat, etc.) are listed per Advisor. All payments are in INR and processed securely. Guidease does not store payment data. Some offerings are free or included in your subscription plan.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Sessions canceled 24+ hours in advance may be eligible for partial refund or credit, subject to review.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of a scheduled session are non-refundable.
  • Guidease may deduct a platform fee from any approved refund.
  • Refunds are processed as per RBI guidelines and returned to the original payment method. Full refunds are issued only in exceptional cases, such as technical failure, duplicate charges, or service not delivered as described.

7. Code of Conduct

  • Communicate respectfully and professionally
  • Avoid sharing false, harmful, or inappropriate content
  • Use the platform lawfully and ethically
  • Not solicit or exchange services or payments outside the platform

Guidease reserves the right to suspend or ban users for violations.

8. Advisor Responsibilities

  • Offer honest, ethical, and inclusive guidance
  • Maintain confidentiality (within legal limits)
  • Accurately represent qualifications
  • Avoid conflicts of interest

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

All content and services on Guidease are provided “as is”, without warranties. We do not guarantee admissions, placements, or that services will meet individual expectations.

10. Limitation of Liability

Guidease is not liable for any decisions made based on advice received, losses or damages resulting from platform use, or service interruptions.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, software, and branding on Guidease are protected. You may not copy, reuse, or modify platform content without written consent.

12. Termination of Use

Guidease may suspend or terminate user access for violating these Terms or engaging in abusive, fraudulent, or harmful behavior.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of any revised terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Indian laws. Disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of courts in Bharat (India) only.

15. Subscription Plans

  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed in INR, monthly or annually.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled in advance.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel via your dashboard. Access remains active until your billing cycle ends.
  • Upgrades/Downgrades: Plan changes take effect immediately or on the next cycle.
  • Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable unless required by Indian law.
  • Pricing or features may be updated with prior notice.

16. Chat and Messaging Features

  • Use chats only for guidance-related purposes
  • Avoid spam, offensive, or abusive behavior
  • Do not exchange sensitive data or solicit services externally

Messages may be monitored or retained for support and safety.

17. Recorded Sessions

  • Some live sessions may be recorded (e.g., for training or user access)
  • Users will be notified if a session is recorded
  • By participating, you agree to let Guidease record, store, and use anonymized content to improve services
  • Users may not record sessions without prior mutual consent
